About the event
Julianna's exploration involves tracing patterns of migration, delving deeper into the desire to reconnect, retrace, and reclaim—the notion of translating one's feelings and memory, which has always existed. An underlying intersections between their past and present form the backdrop of their existence—they were born gazing at loves, violence, aloneness, God, and homelands. In their artistic endeavor, the aim is to find ways to depict desires, remaining hopeful that, in another life, their family would be together. Perhaps, visually depicting it can free a part of them from incessant prayers for its realization.
