470 W. Canfield, Detroit, Michigan 48201- CANFIELD TAPROOM (Main)
The brewery is located in the heart of Detroit’s Cultural Center, home to Wayne State University, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Science Center, Detroit Historical Museum, Center for Creative Studies, Detroit’s Main Library, Hilberry Theater, Opera House, Max Fisher Theater, and Detroit‘s Medical Center, just blocks from Comerica Park and Ford Field. Across the street from Shinola and Third Man Records.
We opened our new Taproom on the Avenue of Fashion, just north of Seven Mile on Livernois Avenue on July 12th of 2021. The historic district has been well known as a major retail destination for many years, and we are glad to be part of the resurgence of this great and important neighborhood in the city. After a brief hiatus during the pandemic, we re-opened this location in the fall of 2022. Approximately one year later (September of 2023) we reluctantly closed this location due to staffing challenges and increased workloads for existing employees. We sincerely thank everyone for their support and patronage since the inception of the project. Please stay tuned for further information on the historical next chapter of 19350 Livernois Avenue.
